We have a lake home in Western Maryland. The table was built to our specifications and delivered in 6 weeks. Though shipping was pricey, this table is beautiful and incredibly well made. We couldn’t be happier with the look and craftsmanship and look forward to enjoying it for years. It is wide enough that with use of the end tables we can get up to 12 people around this 8 foot picnic table.
I purchased a 6-foot Douglas Fir picnic table from Best Redwood last October for a rental property we own in the Colorado Rockies. I was looking for an attractive, durable table that can withstand regular use (and abuse!) by renters and last many years. My decision to choose BR was based largely on reviews, as well as my conversations with them about wood options, finishes, pricing, etc. (thanks, Charlie). The table arrived in a crate that I think would have protected a 6-foot glass sculpture! But I ran out of time to assemble so let it sit for the winter. I finally was able to assemble the table and benches two days ago when I returned to Colorado , and the result is fabulous! This is the sturdiest picnic table ever, and it is beautifully finished with a transparent sealant that enhances the natural wood. Assembly was straightforward. In fact, I had set aside the instructions and forgot I had them when I put the table and benches together—I just referred to the part numbers (A1, A2, B1, B2, etc.) BR helpfully wrote on each piece. Just make sure you use the shortest bolt that will work for each attachment so you don’t run out of the long ones where you need them.
Of course you can get a basic picnic table for less than BR pricing, but if you want a table that will look great and last for years, a BR table is the better value.

Yes, the length in inches are equivalent to the ft stated in the listing. But we do have a tolerance in the measurements in other dimensions.

can I order a 5 ft. picnic table with a hole for an umbrella as well as 3/4 in radius corners? I don't see an option for that in the cart. Also, how long is the wait time right now?
